When we don’t understand who we are BEING, we tend to look to the external world to fix the problem. That’s why most Stressed Out Successes turn to endless amounts of self-care, spending money on the latest tech gadgets (yes, how many of us have splurged as an, “I deserve this!” gift?), or even working longer hours to try and feel better.
But continuing to operate in this way is literally causing more pain. Because this is like going to your local pharmacy asking for aspirin to relieve the pain, when really you have a broken arm and all the aspirin is doing is making you feel better - temporarily.
