I'm going through a specific season with my current clients.
They are all in a season of wanting to believe something they don't yet believe.
Can you relate to this too?
Maybe it's believing you can finally be the magnetic and confident Leader you know you can be.
Maybe it's believing you can actually learn to like that one colleague.
Maybe it's believing you can lose the last 8 pounds (for good).
Maybe it's believing you ARE worthy of that mighty love you've been looking for.
Whatever it is, one of the ways you can tell that you don't yet believe what you want to believe is by looking at your setbacks.
If you presented at an executive meeting and didn't feel you gave a strong answer to a question...
Ask yourself, "What did I make that mean?".
If you made it mean you're a failure and you heard a voice in your head say, "SEE. There's no way you can be that magnetic Leader."; well, then you don't believe what you want to believe.
But the way to know you DO believe without a doubt in your goal and it's simply a matter of time?
Is when you don't make the setback mean anything at all.
Instead you are CONFUSED.
The word in your head is, "HUH" as you figuratively scratch your head.
You have to believe so hard that you're dumbfounded it hasn't happened yet.
This is the real work in trying to believe something.
It's not about squeezing your eyes shut and forcing your mind, or working so hard to prove a point.
It's about stepping into the future version of you that's already there.
It's been magical to witness.
Because it's so exciting when you feel what you want before it's arrived.
It's like Christmas Eve every day.
Life is so much more exciting when you actually believe what you WANT to believe.
